'Cyan No-type', Mixed media, 2022
This is a collaborative mixed media installation project, including experimental cyanotype film, 3D print model, digital prints, projection, nature element, etc. The group reconstructed the landscape with fractured data from nature. Initiating on-going dialogues between new and old, physical and digital, handmade and machine. We try to bridge between the ancient craft and digital technology through a constant transformation in dimension and material, particularly the cyanotype process. The long-time exposure simultaneously captures a discrete moment in time but also evokes a feeling of timelessness. The traces left through Cyanotype chemical by natural and artificial light between organic and inorganic matter emerges as the evidence of memory.
