Making a wall and Throwing a stone, Installation, 2023
The project begins with a personal narrative about the wall. It is based on the contents from the wall I made toward the protesters while working as a riot police, to the wall I made and demolished for exhibition as an art worker. As protesters throw stones at a wall, I imagine a situation without walls or a space beyond the wall by inserting an external factor, weather, into the space. I use weather data based on the user's location to make an environment where the weather affects the space. The environment constantly changes with the weather and time of day, such as being invisible at night and obscuring on a foggy day.
